I am passionate about quilting and am grateful to have the opportunity to inspire others. My intent is to educate and enthuse in an atmosphere of fun and support. Students enjoy my relaxed way of teaching and appreciate my encouragement of confidence.

I have taught classes at basic, intermediate and advanced levels to enthusiastic students all over the world. Students describe me as entertaining, positive, knowledgeable and organized.

Virtual classroom options are available! Check out my wide variety of workshops for all skill levels.

I have several entertaining and informative lecture-style PowerPoint presentations which can be presented in-person or via Zoom (your account or mine). Each lecture is ~1 hour in duration with time for Q&A. Physical quilts will also be included for in-person presentations.

Pinch me....
I am so grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given—and with a lot of hard work (and plenty of joy along the way!), I’ve been able to successfully organize, manage, and host Quilt & Textile Tours all over the world.

Over the past twelve years, I have welcomed hundreds of travelers on unforgettable journeys, sharing laughter, learning, and memories in places like Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Wales, Iceland, Canada, Italy, and Japan.
These meticulously planned tours aren’t just about textiles (though, of course, that’s the heart of it!). We weave in history, culture, and a taste of each country—from ancient ruins and modern marvels to museums, castles, gardens, and more. Every itinerary is carefully designed to include unique textile experiences—private trunk shows, classes, special exhibits, or International Quilt Festivals—along with those can’t-miss highlights that make each destination unforgettable. Whether you’re a quilter, a stitcher, a curious traveler, or just along for the adventure with a friend or family member, there’s truly something for everyone.
These tours are kept small and personal so that each traveler receives the very best care and attention—from the very first phone call or email, all the way through to your flight home. Every detail is handled from start to finish, and we stay in touch along the way with information sessions, newsletters, travel tips, and updates so you always feel well prepared and excited for the adventure ahead.

These tours are popular and do sell out quickly—so if this speaks to your heart, don’t wait too long to join us. Adventure, friendship, and inspiration are waiting!

Many future tours are in the works for Kim Caskey Tours, so please check back often. If you are interested in further details, please click the link(s) below or email me directly at [email protected].

"I really enjoyed Kim's way of teaching. I never felt hopeless once!! She has a way of showing a person one on one as many times as they need, and I appreciated her patience. Kim is very easy to approach and she is happy to answer any question.

My friend was right, Kim is a very good instructor!"
- Kathy Lamb, Machine Quilting student

"I want to thank you both for the beautiful experience and memories. The trip (to France) was more than I’d expected even though my bar was set high. I really can’t pick the highlight of the tour because I enjoyed each and every day. The accommodation, food, workshops, and the caring personalities of everyone involved made it so memorable that I still get goosebumps! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
- Ronnie Pellizzon, Tour Traveller

"Kim Caskey...
She is an engaged and pro-active member of the Edmonton & District Quilters Guild and on the executive. She is a talented and sharing quilt artist. She is driven to excellence and  proficiency in all she undertakes.

She travels and teaches enthusiastically: locally, nationally and internationally. In doing so has encountered many other quilters who are also like minded.

We are the net beneficiary of these connections and their great ideas that abound."
- Kathy Strawson, President, EDQG

Thanks so much for a fabulous trip.
I know you work very hard to make everything run  as smoothly as possible.
It was nice and comfortable to be with a small group of ladies who got to know each other easily.
- Colleen Barnes, Tour Traveller
