Newfoundland 2026 Tour BROCHURE
Embark on an unforgettable journey to Newfoundland in September 2026, where the rugged beauty of Canada’s easternmost province meets the rich traditions of quilting and textile artistry.

This unique Quilt & Textile Tour begins and ends in St. John’s, taking you to iconic landmarks like Jellybean Row, Cape Spear Lighthouse, and Signal Hill, while offering cultural highlights such as tours of The Rooms, Basilica of St. John the Baptist, and the historic Government House. Discover the charm of Quidi Vidi Village with a brewery tasting, group lunch, and a visit to its vibrant artisan market. Shop at renowned quilt stores, including East Coast Quilt Shop, Quilting By The Shore, Jocelyn’s Quilt Patch, The Fat Quarter Shop, and Country Quilt Shop where you’ll enjoy a special Ralph Jarvis Trunk Show.

Immerse yourself in Newfoundland’s heritage with visits to the Trinity Heritage Site, Bonavista Lighthouse, and the deeply moving Come From Away experience at the Gander Aviation Museum. Enjoy an authentic community experience in Bellevue with a heartwarming quilt show and a delicious Fish Fry and Cold Plate Luncheon.

Conclude your adventure back in St. John’s with a Farewell Group Jigg’s Dinner and a special presentation by the St. John’s Modern Quilt Guild, celebrating the creativity, camaraderie, and memories made on this extraordinary journey.

The highlight of this tour will no doubt be the luxurious 4-day private retreat at Fisher’s Loft, Port Rexton, featuring hands-on maker’s workshops and lectures by celebrated local, Canadian, and international artists.
