Whether it’s a lovely little baby quilt or a king-sized bed quilt, I will work with you to find just the right design to complete your quilt top. Simple edge to edge designs – offering surface texture, to custom heirloom quilting designs – adding that perfect finish.

Here are some guidelines to help you get your quilt ready.
Price Estimate
To estimate the charge for quilting, multiply the length and width (in inches) of your quilt top to get the total square inches, then multiply that number by the price per square inch.
Length (inches) X Width (inches) = Total Square Inches
Total Square Inches X $ per square inch = estimated charge for quilting
General Quilting Services
Edge to Edge – Freehand & Pantograph Designs
$0.02 – $0.025 per square inch
A wide range of freehand and pantograph designs are available, which vary slightly in the price depending on the density of the design. This type of quilting will run from one edge of your quilt to the other, creating surface texture.
Edge to Edge – Separate Borders
$0.0275 – $0.03 per square inch
As described above, but only in the body of the quilt. A separate border(s) design is chosen.
Simple Custom Blocks
$0.03 – $0.035 per square inch
Consisting of an individual, custom design used inside each block. A continuous design is used to avoid starts and stops in each block. A separate border (and sashing) design is chosen to complete the quilting.
Custom Blocks with Ditchwork
$0.035- $0.04 per square inch
Consisting of an individual custom design used inside each block where a stop and start are required at least once per block. This method often includes stitch-in-the-ditch around all borders, blocks, and sashing. A separate border (and sashing) design is chosen to complete the quilting.
Heirloom Quilting
$0.04 + up per square inch
Quilting patterns using small background fillers or grids, intricate feather designs, wreaths, or trapunto work, wholecloth designs requiring the quilt to be hand marked. Heirloom quilting uses intricate, heavy quilting designs that are very labor intensive.
