Temperature Quilts
|
PowerPoint Slide Show Presentation / Live One-on-One Instruction
2 half-days (6 hours total) Temperature Quilts have been trending in online quilting communities the last few years. These fun and unique quilts are a great way to celebrate a special or ordinary year. The idea of a Temperature Quilt is to document the temperature of each day in a quilt block. A temperature gauge is created with corresponding fabric colours. Document the high and low temperature of each day in a block and at the end of the year, you have a quilt depicting temperature variations through the year. Many, many variations of this unique quilt can be done – abnormal weather, special dates, how about noting your emotion of the day? This workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of Temperature Quilts and give you all the tools and information you need to start yours immediately! |
