"I really enjoyed Kim's way of teaching. I never felt hopeless once!! She has a way of showing a person one on one as many times as they need, and I appreciated her patience. Kim is very easy to approach and she is happy to answer any question.
------ My friend was right, Kim is a very good instructor!" - Kathy Lamb, Machine Quilting student ------ Our trip to Australia was one of the best adventures I have been lucky enough to share. It is with me every day as I am looking at things from a new perspective. As you know I am not a quilter, but our visit with Kathy Doughty’s workshop did lite a spark in me. Her appliqués and colour choices are still with me. I ordered her book Organic Appliqué, to familiarize myself with the technique. And now, I bought a sewing machine! I am sharing this with you because if it hadn’t been for our wonderful tours to Newfoundland and Australia, I don’t think all of this new creativity would have found a home:) For that I thank you and all the lovely ladies! - Pam, Newfoundland 2023 & Australia 2025 Traveller ------ "I want to thank you both for the beautiful experience and memories. The trip (to France) was more than I’d expected even though my bar was set high. I really can’t pick the highlight of the tour because I enjoyed each and every day. The accommodation, food, workshops, and the caring personalities of everyone involved made it so memorable that I still get goosebumps! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!" - Ronnie Pellizzon, Tour Traveller |
"Kim Caskey...
She is an engaged and pro-active member of the Edmonton & District Quilters Guild and on the executive. She is a talented and sharing quilt artist. She is driven to excellence and proficiency in all she undertakes. She travels and teaches enthusiastically: locally, nationally and internationally. In doing so has encountered many other quilters who are also like minded. We are the net beneficiary of these connections and their great ideas that abound." - Kathy Strawson, President, EDQG ------ Thanks so much for a fabulous trip. I know you work very hard to make everything run as smoothly as possible. It was nice and comfortable to be with a small group of ladies who got to know each other easily. - Colleen Barnes, Tour Traveller |
