COVID-19 UPDATE
It’s been a tough year… physical distancing and isolation - we’re all feeling it in a variety of ways. Yet somehow, I feel comforted knowing that we’re all in this together.

Working from home ...
The recent turn of events due to COVID-19 has forced us all to take a much-needed break from usual and regular routines and provided us with the most incredible gift of time. I am so grateful to have a “day job” that allows me to work efficiently from home.
While this new routine has its challenges, I’m more than happy to do my part to flatten the curve.

Having an at-home studio is an added bonus. I am easily able to keep up with my customer line-up of quilts and now, more than ever, I appreciate the creative outlet and escape from the barrage of bad news.

I hope you have been filling your days with some creative time. As many of my quilter friends and I have realized, we have been stockpiling projects and fabrics for this forced break for years!

On that note, I want to let you know how my intake and pick-up process has changed. I have organized a physical distancing plan, which will be best for both of us.
  • I ask that you call me as usual to discuss your quilt finishing needs.
  • We will make suitable arrangements for you to drop off your quilt safely (or I can pick up from your doorstep).
  • We can discuss specifics (design options, thread choice, etc.) during our call and use all the technical gadgets available to further assist us (FaceTime, Zoom, pictures via text, etc., etc.).
  • I am highly aware of the proper safety protocols and can absolutely promise you, I will adhere to them strictly.

If I can be of any assistance to you - quilting needs, tutorial instruction, advice or suggestions to guide you through a project, please don't ever hesitate to contact me. I'd be more than happy to help.

Please, stay safe and stay healthy... we're all in this together.
- Kim

"I really enjoyed Kim's way of teaching. I never felt hopeless once!! She has a way of showing a person one on one as many times as they need, and I appreciated her patience. Kim is very easy to approach and she is happy to answer any question.

My friend was right, Kim is a very good instructor!"
- Kathy Lamb, Machine Quilting student
"Kim Caskey...
She is an engaged and pro-active member of the Edmonton & District Quilters Guild and on the executive. She is a talented and sharing quilt artist. She is driven to excellence and  proficiency in all she undertakes.

She travels and teaches enthusiastically: locally, nationally and internationally. In doing so has encountered many other quilters who are also like minded.

We are the net beneficiary of these connections and their great ideas that abound."
- Kathy Strawson, President, EDQG
